Louis Marshall Lo is a seasoned legal professional with over two decades of experience spanning the fintech, corporate, and government sectors. His practice focuses on the legal and regulatory dimensions of financial technology, digital transformation, and governance.
Louis advises fintech companies, start-ups, and financial institutions on regulatory compliance, licensing, and operational risk management. His work includes guiding clients through the complex frameworks governing electronic payments, digital banking, virtual assets, and data privacy – helping innovators align with the regulatory expectations.
In the public sector, Louis has served in roles where he provided legal and policy guidance on technology governance, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, and public–private partnerships. He has contributed to the development of government initiatives aimed at strengthening digital capacity, advancing information security, and improving regulatory coordination across agencies.
Mr. Lo holds a Juris Doctor and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of the Philippines. He also earned an Executive Master in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management from the Asian Institute of Management. His multidisciplinary background enables him to bridge the gap between law, technology, and public policy.
